Executive Director

Gale Pearce is General Manager of MDwise Hoosier Alliance.  Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, MDwise Hoosier Alliance provides managed care services for the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration's Hoosier Healthwise program. Hoosier Healthwise is Indiana's health coverage program for low-income families and children. Ms. Pearce is responsible for the general oversight and operations of the health plan, including managing community outreach, medical management, provider contracting services and growth strategies.

Ms. Pearce is also Executive Director and General Manager of Pediatric Associates Health Plan in Broward County, Florida. Both MDwise Hoosier Alliance and Pediatric Associates Health Plans are members of the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies.

Prior to her current positions, Ms. Pearce was Chief of Staff at sister company Passport Health Plan in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role she provided legal services, managed the human resources and the compliance departments, and developed and implemented a Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan for the Plan's dual eligible members. Before joining Passport Health Plan she was General Counsel for both the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department of Insurance, Acordia of Louisville. She also provided legal services and support to Humana, Inc., and Kentucky Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Ms. Pearce earned a JD degree from the University of Louisville, and a BA in Sociology from the University of South Florida.
