MDwise Hoosier Alliance, an AmeriHealth Caritas Company, is a health care network within MDwise to provide care for members in the Hoosier Healthwise (HHW) Indiana’s health coverage program for low-income families and children, and the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP), a health plan for uninsured adults ages 19-64. Since January 1, 2007, MDwise Hoosier Alliance has provided quality managed care services for providers and members across Indiana.

MDwise Hoosier Alliance is a delivery system of MDwise. MDwise is a non-profit company contracted with the state of Indiana to provide services to the Medicaid and uninsured populations. MDwise was formed in 1994 by the Health & Hospital Corporation (Eskenazi Health) and Indiana University Health. MDwise provides services to HHW, HIP, Marketplace and Care Select members.
